"I think $2K is a little much unless that is $2K CND not USD" - Actually it still would not be a deal. The Canadian dollar is almost at .95 of USD these days. I always find it hard to understand people who leave beautiful boats like these out in the elements to "rot". It is such ...

Gelcoat Question

Hello All

Question, as you can see my gelocat below is in rough shape here in the middle of the image (its gone), what would be the best practice. An epoxy with filler applied and then sanded? What type of filler?

Awlgrip Suppliers

Hi Folks

Awlgrips or Alexseal products appear to be a hard item to order in maritime Canada. If your in eastern Canada or Northeast of the United States where are your ordering your Awlgrip/Alexseal products from?

Hi Folks

For a average onboard 12v Battery what would be a good number for the number of watts supplied by solar panels for a average charge rate.

I agree both the teak toerail and teak cockpit seats look wonderful!

Two Questions please.

(1) Where did you find those spacers to lay down your cockpit seats?

(2) How thick are the strips of teak used in your cockpit seats?

Thank You

8. The topcoats will not hide imperfections in the primer. In fact, it will highlight them as it is glossier. If you see an unfair spot or a run, address it before moving on to the next coat. How many coats of primer do you recommend and what is a good brand for two part topside paints? Thank You B...

Looking at your address, I will have to take your word for it!!!!

Mostly scottish decentants in this area, a boat could sink 5 times and get run over by a tank and they would only drop the price 3%

It sure does look clunky, yech. Not sure what design it is?

Being Canadian and not directly effected by the terrible storms in the states
I often why boats like these (and much better) ones are going so cheap? Even with the exchange:)
