Tks Tim The picture must not be relaying the issue in the best light. Sorry my fault. Actually the gelcoat is gone and you are looking at actual fiberglass in the enter of the image. What I have done tonight is fill in a real small area with interlux surfacing putty and the larger area with west exp...

Gelcoat Question
Hello All
Question, as you can see my gelocat below is in rough shape here in the middle of the image (its gone), what would be the best practice. An epoxy with filler applied and then sanded? What type of filler?

Thank You
Bruce

Awlgrip Suppliers
Hi Folks
Awlgrips or Alexseal products appear to be a hard item to order in maritime Canada. If your in eastern Canada or Northeast of the United States where are your ordering your Awlgrip/Alexseal products from?
Thank You

Solar Panel Wattage Estimate
Hi Folks
For a average onboard 12v Battery what would be a good number for the number of watts supplied by solar panels for a average charge rate.
Thank You

8. The topcoats will not hide imperfections in the primer. In fact, it will highlight them as it is glossier. If you see an unfair spot or a run, address it before moving on to the next coat. How many coats of primer do you recommend and what is a good brand for two part topside paints? Thank You B...

Yes Lee Valley is a wonderful company. They are based out of Ontario Canada. If you are having trouble finding a door knob, latch, etc etc to suit I highly suggest looking at their hardware catalogue. Another good site in Canada is this site http://www.princessauto.com/ While they started in the aut...

Hello Tim and Lyman Thank you for the advice on the wood types and the shark24.org site. My favorite woods are ash and birch.
