Thanks. That's easy enough. The deck is solid so not potting necessary, but I will bevel the holes with a countersink bit.

Nope sorry I can't find any photos of the mast step. There is a shoe that fits into the base of the mast. The aft portion of that shoe has bolt holes in it.

Yesterday we put on two more coats of crosslinked deck (smooth). I think we'll call that good. Certainly no factory finish, but it seems to be stuck on quite well. Surely, We are using System Three Yacht Primer two part primer and S3 WR-LPU topcoat. I ground all the old paint off using the Porter Cable DA sander. I used 40grit on the molded-in non-skid.
