The one that got away....

Recent dealings after Hurricane Ivan put me in touch with this slightly damaged beauty. The boat had been on the market for the past 6 months, and after the storm, the owner received a check for damages. All he was asking was the difference of his original asking price. I had the opportunity to close for 11G, but though it was a great deal, alas, the timing was not right (sob, sob).



She is a 1976 Willard 30. For whatever reason, this boat's length is actually 30' on the deck. With bowspirt/anchor platform, she measures right about 35'.



The damage is confined to a small area on the starboard side, aft of amidships. Basically it is some non structural scratchs in the paint and gel coat, a bent stansion and stern rail, a bent boom gallows, and a damaged teak toe rail.

At 16000 lbs, she is not one to win any races, but she has classic lines and will take you most anywhere you may want to go....
