Well, Chip Flannigan is indeed building a Dark Harbor this year. But its actually a Dark Harbor 15. Yes, 15. Chip redrew the boat with an additional 4 1/2 feet overall for his client. I just got back from the hull turning party. Pictures on my site: dasein668.com.

Wow, that's some beautiful boat!
As the article points out, and I have also seen in reading various magazines, there seems to be a "rediscovery" of this type of sailing and boat. I am very attracted to the concept of simplicity and the importance of aesthetics in sailing.
I guess Tim was right about this whole "daysailor" concept and his timing appears to be right on!
