I just bought an early Gladiator on ebay. Nicely designed boat with a distinguished history. It needs work. I'd be glad to get tips or advice from anyone who has owned/sailed/worked on one.
thanks

I looked at that boat...
so I'm curious what kind of shape it's in. I almost considered bidding sight unseen - after doing a bit of research - but they couldn't provide so much as one itty-bitty photo of the interior, so I didn't.
How does that nifty-looking slide-up hatch work in real life?
Congrats on getting it

Lapworth Gladiator
I don't exactly own a Gladiator, but I do own a Lapworth 24, which was built by the same company and shares the same hull and rig. Maybe I can help. I also have a set of drawings I bought from Bill Lapworth and have done some work on my boat since I bought from California and had it shipped out to the east coast!
