Mine arrived yesterday. Just a small digital scale. Instructions are basically weigh hardener multiply by six and add resin until you reach that weight. Kind of silly but given the number of times I mix a full pump of epoxy and throw half of it away, it will more than pay for itself assuming I don't glue it closed first.
Yup, it's a regular digital scale. When I took the local fiberglass repair class presented by the West System/Gougeon Bros. guys this past weekend, they had one of them there.
They also suggested that for accurately measuring and mixing small amounts of epoxy you could buy a cheap plastic syringe, slice off the end, and turn it into a graduated cylinder by marking 6 equal units with a ruler and marker. Add the hardener and epoxy then press the plunger to neatly force it all out into a pot.
