LED festoon bulbs

I'm looking for a source of LED festoon-type bulbs that are visible from 360 degrees, to install in my anchor light housing.

There seem to be lots of automotive-type ones available, but I'm pretty sure they are not 360 degree visible.
Does anyone have a favorite source for these?

That's a toughie. I figured that superbrightleds.com would have them but their festoons are not 360 degree emitters. A quick google search didn't turn up much either.

I'd try giving the folks at superbrightleds a call and see if they have a suggestion. 314-972-6200 Or check their contact page for email addys.

Alternatively, doesn't Hella make LED anchor lights? Do their lights use festoon style bulbs?

Ancor Marine has been promoting an LED festoon bulb. In fact, I believe it is still featured on their homepage. I haven't seen or used them personally.

I have used LED bulbs from Dr. LED. Silly name aside, I have had great luck with their Polar Star 25 bulbs in Aqua Signal Series 25 fixtures.

This is the same bulb that I use in my anchor, steaming and stern navigation light fixtures. Works great, and uses a lot less current.
