I have a hatch made by VETUS that has broken its hinges. The company does not make this hatch anymore.
It should be a simple repair. The hatch is a solid piece of plastic that fits down into an aluminum frame. The hinge screws onto the plastic top and into the side of the frame.
Does anyone have a lead as to were/who I might approach with a variety of plastic hinges that I could use to repair this hatch?
Thanks in advance,
Arlingtondiver

Are the existing hinges like a butt hinge? If so, then something suitable as a replacement should be pretty easy to locate.
Also, is there a reason you couldn't use a metal hinge on the hatch? You might find more of a selection if you can consider metal as well as plastic.
McMaster-Carr has many pages of hinges in their catalog. You might find what you need there. Go to www.mcmaster.com and type "hinge" in the search box, and go from there.
Just a couple thoughts to get started.
