Hey, works for me. How much is a slip in the same harbor? Probably 4 grand a year? If you can get one? It takes a couple of hours to reshape the bow? And if ya didn't know, you wouldn't know the difference.

I know that boat, too. The damn thing is so ugly and ungainly that you'll never even notice the weirdo bow. Heck, it might even improve the thing. The topsides are like 9 feet tall.

um.... and what of the stay that used to be attached to the now-removed section of the boat?
I suppose the other stays will just be tightened a bit to compensate?

Duct tape?

There's still a roller furler there about a foot back from the amputation, so I guess he's good to go as long as he doesn't bury the bow in a wave. Lots and lots of duct tape would come in handy right about now. Ya think?
