Editing pictures in Fotolode

Post by George ( C&C 40 ) »

Hi Tim,

A couple of posts ago in the "Awlgrip of C&C 40 Delphinus" thread I accidently uploaded a full sized picture to Fotolode and linked to it. The picture looks great but it is so large that it messes up the text of all the other posts on the page forcing you to have to scroll back and forth to read them. Also, it's a huge file so it probably slows down the pages load time for dial-up connections. I tried to be tricky and went back into Fotolode, resized the photo, renamed it, deleted the first photo, and renamed the resized photo to the first photo's name so the path would be the same. However the picture on the forum is still the big picture and not the smaller resized picture even though the big picture is now gone from Fotolode. Any ideas?

I never noticed an oversize photo in the thread, so your fix must have worked. Nathan's answer may be right on.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the tip. I cleared the cache and the problem went away.
