Santa came early this year and brought a Dickinson solid fuel heater, a Weems and Plath lantern, and several boat units! Come February, and the Strictly Sail show in Chicago, we'll hopefully place an order for a dodger.

The gooseneck component of the waterlift exhaust was waiting for me when I got home today. It's not exactly "bling", but it'll do.

My brother's dinghy oars were lost in the nearly hurricane force winds that trashed the middle Cheasapeake this fall. So, we set off to copy the set of traditional oars I made for my dinghy when I acquired her last spring.

That boy loves old boats!! My wife is very afraid that he will suffer from the same affliction that I do!!

Christmas was good to me as well. Santa managed to sqeeze a tiller pilot down the chimney and thousand "Triton-bucks" out of his wallet. (I know when it comes to the nautical candy store - I will try not spend that all in one place)
I also received a skull and cross bones bandanna - Arrrg my hearties!
