Sadly, that view was the official end of the "Bachelor" cruise too.

If I remember correctly, the day started off very foggy and it was only later in the morning when the fog started to lift and all the schooners in the anchoring area came into view.

The good old days. I will have to do that again some time :-)

If you could pan the camera to the left, you'd probably still see the fog hanging out in Jericho Bay, actually.

You got yerself a date? Not much of a bachelors cruise if there are girls. Unless you're talking about escorts.... ;-D

I find boats to be the ultimate matchmaker. I can work on my boat for two years in the yard and never a hint of interest towards my charming personality and dashing good looks. Launch my boat and a week later I am tripping over the crew offers...

So, no dates yet but I am sure I could if I wanted to when it comes to launch time. I was more suggesting that girls with boats are welcome to join in on the cruise. :-)

Shallow gold diggers.

So launch your boat and sail right on up! Late July-early August is the best cruise time here. Join the fun! Good cheese and fantastic company abounds...well, at least the cheese part.

A Maine cruise, good company, cheese, and perhaps a nice port... That sounds totally plan-worthy!
