Just in time for spring...

Post by Tim »

Thank heavens. Martha has been released. Now my spring decorating plans will be able to move forward as hoped. With Easter looming inexorably ahead, I was unsure just what I should do, and how I should decorate my eggs.

Without my mentor, I was just lost and not sure how to proceed. Rudderless for the past several months, I can once again steer a steady course to greatness.

The poor dear, though. 5 months of house arrest at her 163 acre Bedford estate, able to leave only for 48 hours per week for "work", such as starring in her new reality show that will surely highlight her spotless ethics and character for America's youth to emulate.

Fortunately, at least the media ignored her release.

Martha!

Surely she will chime in on that "interior paint" thread, too, and put an end to the debate :-)

Actually I think not letting her use her Hinkley picnic (jet) boat constitutes cruel and unusual punishment. Really now, how is one to survive without such basic necessities?

Tim, perhaps you could make her a model one for her swimming pool?

Not around here, they didn't.
Between "still clearing out from that last snow" and "another coastal snowstorm on the way" all we heard was martha martha martha.

Local news sets the bar rather low around here.

You'll have to forgive me. I've been breathing a lot of dust and fumes lately. :)

On a sunny day last weekend, it was about 85 degrees up in the top of the shed and i got a bit lightheaded walking on deck. I blindly stepped right into the open foredeck hatch. Wrenched my knee and severely sprained my foot trying to recover.

Lesson learned: always have a few throw pillows scattered about. They're a good thing.

Just be sure to use pastels this time of year.
