Rigging size

I am getting ready to order up materials for new standing rigging on the Triton.

Can anyone confirm the rigging size as specified by C. Alberg? I am thinking 0.25" but I can't remember. Is the size still the best choice or have newer/better materials made a smaller size a better choice?

One other question. When installing a roller furler on the forestay is it normal to go up in size on the forestay diameter? On my boat with an old furler the forestay is a couple of sizes bigger that the rest of the rigging.

Off the top of my head:

Forestay 1/4"
Shrouds and backstay 3/16"
(for some reason my lowers are 1/4")
Jumpers 1/8"

The stock rigging was 3/16" all around, except for the jumper stays, which are 1/8". 3/16" has plenty of strength for the rigging loads on a Triton spar and is the right choice.

I used 3/16" for all rigging (1/8 for jumpers), though I ended up with a 1/4" headstay, perhaps because I needed it for the size furler I chose. I don't recall exactly.
