After only a few days on board during the cruise this year, Britton just had to drag us into the
Merchant Harbor MegaMall , newly constructed on Harbor Island in Merchant's Row, so that he could pose at Glamour Shots in front of this background.
(Poor guy won't even be able to defend himself for some time, as the lucky devil is still out there cruising...)

Is that an honest photo, no filtering, no photoshop, nothing?
Jeez, I'm moving to Maine.
(I'm talking about the sunset, not Britton. no offense to Britton. I mean, you know what I mean!)

Drat. Tim caught me lurking from this library computer in Winter Harbor.
I am much better looking in real life :-)
I still have another couple of weeks before I turn around for home. It is kinda lonely out here by myself though. Kicking the rum addiction was rough too.

As a highlandman brought up on the west coast of Scotland, I thought i'd give you a little "Laphroaig Enrichment" !
Islay, the home of Laphroaig, is 2hrs sail from where we keep our boat. A number of famous scottish distilleries, some of which you will probably have heard about, like Talisker and Lagavulin and so on are all in the area too. The great thing about the location of the distilleries is they are always based in a relatively safe anchorage which is on the opposite side of the island from the crazy prevailing scottish weather! Many a day we have had running from the weather into these bays to the smell of some of the worlds finest whiskies wafting down on us... as well as many a beautiful calm summer day! perfect!
