In a "Quick Quote" they quoted me $836 for a main and $591 for a 110 jib for the Albin Vega. This included a 25% discount, and air freight to the nearest airport.

Their web site has a good sail measuring guide and some other interesting stuff.

Haven't dealt with them personally, but when I as looking for new sails a while ago two people reccommended them to me, I ended up getting some used ones, but am still considering them.

one person who told me about them claimed they were about average in speed in getting them to him, and the sails were of decent quality, he's had them about 4 years, also claimed that a few local lofts used them for 'common' sails instead of making them in house.

They indicate on their web site they charge wholesale prices for Internet customer orders, which may be the same as they charge the lofts.

I'm still into making my own sails (with help from my friendly local loft) but FarEast's prices are not much higher than my material costs when buying the material locally in small quantities.

I have purchased six sails over the years from Dirk and he's great! They are a Rolly Tasker dealer and spec the sails as tripple stiched, hand finished clews et. etc. the quality is as good as any cruising sail I've purchased from a local loft but the prices are about 70% better! There is a decent lead time 6-8 weeks because the sails are sewn in Phuket Thailand and shipped back to National Sail Supply. By far the best sails for the money and I've looked into them all!
