Soverel 28 MORC II

Here's our 1967 Soverel 28. The first version of these had a full keel with attached rudder. The MORC had a spade rudder and a much bigger cabin than my boat. The MORC II was a somewhat rare boat with a 10' cockpit and VERY low "sitting" headroom. These boats all had lots of teak, and mine actually has a bronze centerboard. Totally bulletproof hulls, built very strongly. Fast in their day, they are VERY heavy for their size by today's standards. .

That's a pretty boat!
I wasn't familiar with those before you posted - had heard the name but only associated it with the racier newer boats. Certainly hadn't seen your MORC II version.
