Hello Gang - The new (old beam) is in (thanks Mike), the mast is back up, boom with Rig Rite mast attachment installed. US Spars ridged vang installed, 1:1 mainsheet with 4:1 fine tune installed. AMSTEEL halyards installed for Main and Headsail. Removable outboard bracket installed and tested with semi OK results - (it works - but is a major pain in the xxx) 3 Home Depot shovel handles converted into flag staffs, for ( US JACK, GADSTEN, JOLLY ROGER) - the US Ensign gets the $40 dollar Teak flag staff (fancy). The grinding and sanding of the interior continues with much zeal and gusto - almost done with this hellish job. I am on the mooring so when my super loud 4 cycle gas generator roars to life I completely bum out my multi-millioniare neighbors on the shore - I am sure they hate me - though I doubt the culprit is known - poor things. Other tid-bits include, new tillers, boat hooks, ash shroud rollers, Windex, ATN TOP CLIMBER, classic dorade vents. Almost ready to bend on the new sails! ! ! The boat is very light without the A-4 and associated gear.
With my moving the boats regular gear to the rear of the boat I am able to get it float on it lines - though a bit higher - maybe an inch or two. The interior is still out and I guess that to be about 100 lbs. We will see then what she look like. - cheers
