?? luan plywood was used to form molds for the new material. The plywood was held at the desired angle using wedges placed every 2 feet of so in the area where the old rub rail diverges from the hull. Later the wedges were chiseled out and filled. I also used wedges under the inside molds near the bow to get the angle to approximately match that of the outside material. I have retained the scuppers at the stern, but their shape has been modified at bit as you can see from the last photo.
The pictures this morning did not turn out very well due to the glare and dust. I hope to have some better ones as I get through the starboard side.
