Interlux "Perfection"

Post by Figment »

Has anyone used interlux Perfection paint?

I need a paint that's not terribly difficult to apply, decent durability, good color retention, and flexible when cured.

Perfection was at the top of the list until I read the fine print on the product data sheet...
Do not use Perfection on flexible constructions. Will crack on carvel and clinker/lapstrake hulls.
Because of the carvel/clinker/lapstrake comment, I read this as a problem with expansion and contraction, not so much with "flexible construction".

Any firsthand knowlege?

Nevermind.

I had an epiphany four seconds after posting the above.

I arrived at Perfection because the far less finicky Toplac was not available in the shade of grey I wanted. Silly.
I'll stick with the Toplac and mix my own grey. Duh.
