Does anyone know of a source for Teleflex/Morse Control Cable clamps for the 5/16" cable? Morse 64C I believe.
On Edson's advice I am relocating the shift cable to the pedestal using the large diameter cable. Already have the cable, but no one seems to have the other parts that go with it.
Tim, I recall you bemoaned the fact that this stuff was rare on your web site. Wondering if anyone has found a source?
Thanks.

they list clamps for Morse Cables. I know they are in the UK but I don't list any hits in the US.
If it is something special, what does it look like. Wakefield Marine Consignment has a wealth of "stuff" and may have one in one of the bins. If you give me a clue what I am looking for, I will look when I am there early next week.

I had contacted Teleflex tech support about some parts for my Morse Control Levers, and they said that they don't sell parts directly -- that I should work with West Marine or other retailer who could do a special order.
With the Morse part numbers from the link above, you might be able to arrange such a special order.
Or try this: http://www.go2marine.com/product.do?no=65226F

Re: Big Control Cable Bits
My Lewis Marine catalog lists a number of fittings for the 64 series cables, including the normal ends like ball joints, clevis fittings, terminal eyes, pivots, clamps, and cable breaks. What is it you're looking for, specifically?Ceasar Choppy wrote:Does anyone know of a source for Teleflex/Morse Control Cable clamps for the 5/16" cable? Morse 64C I believe.

Near as I can tell from the Teleflex information manual here:Tim wrote:My Lewis Marine catalog lists a number of fittings for the 64 series cables, including the normal ends like ball joints, clevis fittings, terminal eyes, pivots, clamps, and cable breaks. http://www.teleflexmarine.com/library/m ... 20Kits.pdf , I'm looking for:
1. the clamp that fits on the metal neck of cable. Teleflex No. CA28018P or under these two Morse numbers 036733 (clamp) and 031538 (shim).
2. I also am also looking for a clevis that will screw on to the end of the cable (5/16"), but allow for a 3/8" pin to connect to the shift lever on the transmission-- No Teleflex no., but Morse No. 042034
Thanks Tim! PM me if you can hook me up, I didn't see these on the Lewis web site.
