Can you identify this boat?
I am interested in this homebuilt boat. The seller isn't the builder and he doesn't know much about it. It's about 30' long with a beam of 8'6". He calls it a Glacier Blue, but I can't find any plans named that online. To me it looks like a Bruce Roberts with a pilothouse. I already have one project boat, but I am looking for another one that would be capable of ocean voyages. What do you guys think? Anyone know what it is? If you click on it, a better picture should come up.

As a home-built boat, it could be just about anything. Most people build from some sort of stock plan or another, though. Also, just because something can't be found online doesn't necessarily mean that it doesn't exist. I'm not familiar with "Glacier Blue" either, but you may have to find another means for researching that particular boat.
In any event, purchasing a home-built boat requires an extra-careful and detailed inspection. There are a lot of horror shows out there. Be sure you know how the boat is really put together before moving forward.
Beyond that, it doesn't really matter what it is...if it suits your needs and is adequately constructed, then go for it.
