barrier coat again

Muskrat is solid core, has wicked zits above water line- none below but gouges w/ I think moisture ( plastic duct taped to hull has moisture under it-just condensation?).

I would like to put ablative bottom paint on her this weekend but wonder if I need barrier coat. The gouges are battle scars and few & far between. Could I heat gun carefully knowing too much is bad and then west system to fair out? Should we have some one w/ a misture meter look at her ( voodoo in the wrong hands?) or just plan on a barrier coat?

Last fall the bottom was stripped. She's been outside shrink wrapped for the last time (i hope) in the next 50 years. The zits above the water line are being addressed- not by me :))

A solid glass hull in good condition built in the 60s and showing no signs of osmotic or hydraulic action below the waterline, with no existing or repaired blisters, and located in Maine, with cold water and a short sailing season...

Don't waste your time and money on barrier coat. There's absolutely no call for one in this case.

thanks! We'll try this weekend to fair the bottom.
also on the adgenda is coat 10 on the main mast, take off the winter cover, dump run, etc.
