I am about ready to paint my deck and cabin. I'll be using 545 primer as a base coat for adhesion then I want to give it a coat of Awl-Quik surfacing primer for the smooth sections of the cabin as I had to do a fair amount of fairing around the ports. Following the sanding with the the final two coats of 545. I'll be spraying.
I'd like to know if I can coat the 545 with Awl-Quik while its still green or do I need to let it cure and sand first? Can't seem to find anything in the Awlgrip online application manual about this.

You're not finding this in the manual because typically, the Awlgrip recommendation would be that high-build primers like Awl-Quik be applied first, before any 545 is applied. Typically, one would apply the desired coats of high-build, allow it to cure, sand it smooth, and then overcoat with the 2-3 coats of 545 required as a base for the topcoat.
But in an attempt to answer your question as it stands: these primers have different makeups, and like most non-identical products, I think you'll need to let the first product cure (and sand) before applying the second product.
