Solar panel lifespan

Do solar panels have a lifespan?

I would imagine so, nothing is eternal after all. What about probable life span then?

Ceto, back when I was employed we used solar panels to power our river monitoring stations. In the almost 20 years I was there, I do not recall us ever replacing one. In fact, one had someone shoot a hole through it and it only lost a fraction of it's output and we didn't need to replace it either.
