Soverel 30 and repair

I looked at a 73 soverel 30 today and was wanting some opinions.

Has anyone had any experience with these? Im wanting an offshore boat and soverel information is hard to get. This is the second boat i cant seem to match boat to specs on the soverel 36 site.

I managed to get good pictures of all the warts.

THere is a large gouge down one side that will have to be cut out and relaid

The shackle to the centerboard has to be reattached Right now its held up with a rope

My main question is about a picture that obviouslt has three chainplates sticking up out of the deck. Are theses upper and lower shrouds? You can also see pictures of chainplates mounted on the exterior of the cabin trunk. I assume these are for the lower shrouds so whats up with the trio? the two outboard are glassed into the hull and the inboard is mounted to a big piece of wood. You can see it in one of the photos in the left hand side on the interior of the boat.

any guesses?

ps on a neat side bar there is an original sailplan with all the sail plan and lines signed by mark soverel Its rigged as a cutter. Soon to become a sloop though
