Rub Strake Repair advice needed

How would one repair the damaged rub strake in the photo below? Cut out the damaged section and laminate multiple thin strips in place, or use one thick piece and steam it, then bend it on? Or rip off the entire strake and replace with something else? I've looked on Hamilton Marine for rubber replacements and only found right angle moldings. I like rub strakes, but teak ones always seem to look ratty. Thanks!

Having been in the store, I can assure you they have them in a wide selection. Perhaps they don't list all shapes in the catalog?

So I went back to their site and exactly what I needed popped up, but it wasn't there before. Strange.

Any ideas out there on technique for replacing with wood?
