Boat Transport

I need to ship my Alden Challenger from near Tampa FL. to near Richmond VA. I want to keep it at my house, so I was thinking of trying to find someone with a hydraulic trailer. I also may wait until fuel prices are lower. Does anyone have any thoughts on a good, affordable marine transporter?

I had good luck with Kentech Marine who are based out of Maryland. Give Ken a call and see what he says.

Give Tom Wagner a call at 321-689-3431. He moved my Bristol from St Pete to my side yard in Orlando and did a great job. He is based outside tampa. tell him I said Hi. (He will probably be busy dealing with boats from the hurrcanes on the gulf coast.

I am in Fork Union and plan to restore the Challenger at my house. I have a 1966 Pearson Triton at my mothers house on Goose creek, off Chisman creek in Seaford. Where do you have your boat?

Yankee Point for the boat.

Used to live in Scottsville, now live in the West End near U of R. Loved going to the Drive In at Fork Union.

Wife is out that way several times a week to visit her horse in Scottsville.

Would love to see the Challenger one day. Great boat.
