Wha is the general consensus on bails like the one below?

I don't realy see any advantage to it myself, nothing wrong with the old style. unless it's cheaper, and you need a new one....
aluminum is aluminum, and after it gets some wear in the roller and starts scuffing the 'compcote' it's going to start bleeding black aluminum crud all over everything unless you keep it dry and clean it up every time you use it.
my opinion's likely influenced by my kiss outlook though. I don't like two or more moving parts where one does the job, and I dislike aluminum in any kind of 'friction' arrangement.
