What you are looking at is the Carbospars, Ltd. Aerorig. Carbospars apparently got some kind of award for this design in the UK, but from what I've been able to discover they appear to be out of business since both their URLs are no longer operational.

There is at least one negative (very negative) review of the rig.

IMHO, it looks like powerboat on a stick and the rig, which was described in the above review as resembling a certain inappropriate gesture, is not esthetically pleasing either.

I'll stick with my classically rigged Triton, thank you very much but If I were going to spring for a new boat in this price range I'd go for a W-Class boat which has much more visually pleasing lines and probably sails better to boot.

There was a 40+ foot catamaran docked next to my boat last weekend with the same setup. Boat was gone before I got a chance to inquire. Needless to say, I was equally intrigued.
