Monel Gas Tank
I pulled the monel gas tank to rebuild the brackets, some of the tabing was loose, and paint under it. I plan on repowering with a diesel, mabe a Beta 10. Can that tank be used for diesel. It has 3 fittings, fill, supply and a vent. Would it be ok to add a tee in the vent line for the fuel return line. Any thoughts. Thanks.

Assuming the tank is sound and in good condition, you can use it for diesel. Take this opportunity to thoroughly clean out the tank (an absolute requirement), and replace all fittings and associated hoses, etc.
Teeing into the fuel vent has been done before, but I suggest you add a new return fitting somewhere in the tank.
