Tim how far back was the cut out for the forestay on your anchor platform, looks like about a foot from the aft end in the photos but I didn't see any demensions. Thanks for the excellent documentation of the rebuild it is coming in very handy. I am using two SS plates down either side instead of one solid piece because it was easier to procure and build without the cut out. Thanks again.

I'll have to get back to you on this, but I think the forward end of the cutout is something less than a foot from the leading edge of the platform.
