I think the closest one is Motts Marine Salvage on Rt. 1 in Newcastle. I have never been there and think it's a lot more of the lobster pot/tourist kind of thing, but I bought one or two legitimate boat parts from their Ebay store.

It's fun to take a look but has little for sailboat equipment of any value. You may find a few old items but by and large the inventory doesn't turn over.

There are several lobster boat transmissions etc. I almost bought a wooden ladder they had this past week, the kind that is used for boarding or swimming. I often thought I might add one to Christmas. Then I looked at it and realized, something small and folding in a locker makes more sense.
