Finding age of 35 HP Mercury

Post by Scott »

Hi, I am at it again, trying to find out the age of an outboard. This time it's a Mercury 35 HP outboard my brother just bought. Can't seem to stumble onto anything on the internet, was wondering if anyone could help us out? The first character of the serial number appears to be 0, with the rest being M730282. Thanks for any help or leads?

Have recently purchased Pearson Triton which I will be restoring over the coming months/years!

I imagine a place that works on them should be able to identify the age.
